Quicky on a FFFF Friday

Our lack of posts doesn’t mirror our feeling for the team after Wednesdays great performance. Arsene and the boys got it bang on and Bayern didn’t know how to break us down or deal with the threat on the break. Unfortunately we came up short and ultimately the calamitous goals at home costs us. We thought it would.

Still there were signs there of what we all, so frustratingly know, we are close to being a good side. If only we’d applied ourselves like that at the scum bags, they wouldn’t have had a hope, against the scum we played a ridiculously high line yet against Bayern we dropped and pressed when needed.

If Arsenal can show the defensive maturity they showed in Munich in the remaining 10 games this season we will finish at least 4th. Again I want our targets to be higher but this is where we are now and there’s 10 games to get behind the lads. I will be backing them all the way.

We have another European away trip on Saturday, Wales, and the boys need to finally master the art of winning at the Liberty.

There’s a lot of chat of mental strength and Wenger has praised the Flap for the way he came back into the team and his mental miracle, but for me HE WILL LET US DOWN! Hopefully Chesney can re-focus and slip back into the team asap. He has made mistakes but the Flap, Flaps.

Sagna, Podolski, and Wilshere are still out and Gibbs goes back to the treatment room for Monreal to come back into the side. I think left back is the only place Arsene will change the team and he’ll tell the boys to go back out there and get us three points.

It’s always Russian roulette with football results after the European week but as we go first on Saturday it gives us the chance to apply some pressure to first Chel$ki and then the spuds. Both of those being at home you have to fancy them for 3 points, so Arsenal must win. If we do gain ground this weekend it’d be a massive bonus ahead of the international break.
