Blackburn Rovers' Martin Olsson, right, is tackled by Arsenal's Francis Coquelin in the FA Cup

Arsenal 0 v 1 Blackburn

That’ll teach me to be confident going into a game?

Arsenal were shit today! End of! I’m glad even Arsene admitted it. It’s just not fucking good enough. Championship side at home, not even that good, it’s a walk over?

Put into that Blackburn didn’t give a fuck, and we are through, no……….. I thought it was one of the most passion-less cup ties I’ve ever seen. Blackburn didn’t stick it to us, they didn’t even try to get out of their half most of the game, they would have taken a draw. They would have accepted a defeat.

The first half wasn’t all that bad, especially if it was backed up with some attacking play in the second half, but it wasn’t. The best chances came from headers, Diaby flashed one in that was saved and Vermaelen looped one over. Just before half time Rosicky set Gervinho free but his shot flew wide.

There just didn’t seem to be anything about Arsenal, Diaby put one 50 yards wide and Giroud had a weak header saved. Arsenal just weren’t at it. Wenger brought on Wilshere, Walcott, and Santi but it didn’t help up, Blackburn broke away, Coquelin was out of position, Koscielny out numbers, Chesney saved the first shot but he couldn’t push it away from goal, and Kazim-Richards struck, the defence didn’t repsond and he wanted it more, simple!

Of course in the closing minutes it was all hands to the pump and keeper won it for Blackburn, Monreal and Santi went close, somehow Walcott (who should have had a penalty) had a header from close range saved and Giroud couldn’t angle a late header in.

So that’s it, out of the cup, brilliant!
