Don’t panic!
A couple of friendly games, a draw and a defeat, but no need to panic.
Most of our big players stayed at home, so both line ups were a mixture of kids and first teamers not involved in the Euros ; Yeah, even Chamakh played!
Things are still bubbling under on the transfer front ; Our ‘everything must go’ sale has got off to a slow start, but I’m sure Bendtner, Park, Squillaci etc have their bags packed and ready to go as soon as their phones ring ; let’s hope so, anyway.
New flavour of the week for transfers in is Malaga’s Santi Cazorla. A bit like Yann M’Vila from six weeks ago, this guy has now taken on almost mythical skills amongst the online fansbase, and will surely be the solution to all our problems once he signs with the red n white pen. He clearly has some pedigree and class, but we do tend to get a bit carried away when strongly linked with established Internationals players we have seen in action elsewhere.
Is another tricky, lightweight, technical player exactly what we need right now? Maybe so, but we also need another central midfielder to put Song under pressure – My vote would go to Nigel De Jong, as he is having a contract stand off with Man City right now – I think he would fit the bill perfectly. But then, what do I know?
I can’t believe AW made the statement that a fit Diaby will be ‘like a new signing’ ; Did he really do it with a straight face? I would love to see the footage. Come on Arséne, you are having a joke with us, no?
Keep the faith.

I agree cazorla quality but not where we need to sign the most we have plenty of attacking midfielders surely a left back and defensive midfielder is paramount! Diaby like a new signing haha
When injuries set in, where do we look ? To the bench? I’m worried especially left back and right back positions
