Hey ho Sunday, 14 days to go!!

Wow!! I’ve just got back from The A-Team. Er no, because it’s not out yet, the mrs. booked tickets thinking it was an early preview only for us to be told it was an error in the office and they put the wrong date son the system!! Still we got to see Karate Kid for free so fair play.

The Arsenal boys have been dishing quotes to try to sell out Sundays match against Celtic now AC Milan has gone offline. That’s a great achievement for Arsenal if they do sell out both days. All it takes is one signing and it would sell out in minutes.

Koscielny says he loves a bit of rough and is relishing the physical battle of the EPL and he is part of the new Arsenal that won’t roll over in a tough exchange. Song has also been talking up Lyon who we don’t play in the Em Cup. The boys will want to set a measure down for the season and impress at Ashburton Grove next weekend so I can’t wait.

Meanwhile Vermaelen has been talking titles!! He told the Evening Standard

We have a good young group who are very aggressive and want to improve. I think people will always say we can’t compete – it is not the first time.

But we have to do what we always do which is work hard and play our own game. Then we can compete.

I hope we can compete for the title this year and I’m convinced we will.

Note the use once again of the word AGGRESSION!!

On Bendy and Denilson who has small knocks Wenger has confirmed the most they will miss is the trip to Anullfield which, to be honets neither would have started in, so all looks good for them to perhaps make appearances against new boys Blackpool when we are four or five ahead.

Most of the Arsenal transfer gossip today surrounds Russian keeper Akinfeev who wants a move to The Premier League and wouldn’t mind teaming up with Andrey the great (or ManUre) to take on the title challenge. This guy is quality, a proven International keeper, with experience at European level too. I would be very happy if we signed him so that says to me we won’t!!

Jagielka is also linked in some papers but others say there is now way we will sign him so that is another one for the gossip column.

Stekelenburg is also linked, another keeper I like, and Loric Remy will be linked every day until he signs for someone else.
