What do you do on a Saturday when there is no Arsenal? You take Mini Block19er to see the Clock, yes the ClockEnd Arsenal. He loved it.
Mini Block19er had is wardrobe update with 3-6 months size kits. Home and Away. He’s ready for the season run in.
I was shocked, well actually I expected it, but still, the change of attitude of Le Tissier, Big Nose, Champagne, and the Merse is crazy. Soccer Saturday last week. Each one of them tipped Arsenal to do well and not one of them said ManUre would beat us. The praise for Wenger, the adulation of the players, and the craving of the style of play. They went through it all. This week, Arsenal are rubbish, they have no experience, no back bone, and Arsene needs to change. He’s stubborn, blah, blah, blah, it goes to show the people on that panel only say what they think people at home want them to hear. Charlie Nic even picked on Pat Rice and said Wenger could do with a change of direction from the coaching staff. 1 GAME DOES NOT MAKE OR CHANGE A SEASON. The reaction from 1 game is crazy.
So we go to Chelski with no chance of winning, it’s backs to the walls, if we lose apparently, we’ll finish mid-table. . . . . . .
I hate to keep going back a week, I was gutted watching it unfold from the ClockEnd, but, the reason we were all so gutted is because we expected so much. Does that not show what a good team we actually have? I wonder how ManUre would be coping without Shrek? But one thing is for sure we need to FIGHT!! The boys selected tomorrow, and I expect a couple of changes, need to leave it all on the pitch.
Whatever happens tomorrow make sure you sing up for JT, there’s a load of good ones going about, and I’m sure a few will be created in the pubs around Putney pre-match. I hear Cherlys next on the bang list, and don’t forget, there’s a little tw@ who deserves plenty of abuse still.
Vermaelenhas been the one banging the drum. Big Tom says he thinks we can bash the Chavs tomorrow. The Belgian will have a big say in who wins tomorrow, we need him to show grit and determination, and lead the team. He carries himself as a captain, whether he has the armband or not, he should be impressing his tough personality on the whole team.
Drogbreathe and LeSulk always seem to score against us, it’s hard to see us stopping them, but Sagna and Clichy need to join Gallas and Vermy on top form. These two full backs have been out of form, so is the keeper, time to shake it up lads or face the chop.
I have a strange feeling Theo may make an impact on tomorrow, he has a habit (sort of) of scoring against the Chavs, his pace will unsettle them. I know most of you may think I’ve lost it BUT I’d even think about starting him up top with Bendy and Arshavin.
RVP, Johna, Merida, Vela, Gibbs, and Eduardo are out. The rest are available for selection. No excuses. Come on Arsenal. Do it for us!!

It may be wishful thinking but I can`t help feeling that there could be a surprise in store. Most times these top matches turn out to be a bit of a fizzer but this one, well ,no one will leave early, that`s for sure.

the best thing to do, is just to sit back, relax and enjoy the game. i’ve not really given up hope but the lesser the expectation there is, the less heartache there will be. after believing that we could have at least win against some of the big games and watching how we lose those games sometimes makes me sick of how the team plays when the going gets tough. i don’t believe that we could win against chelsea. not with this current crop of talented individuals anyway, let alone after seeing us being humiliated by our closest rivals who played with a makeshift central defensive pairing. i believe their player were not as technically as good as Arsenal’s but what they have is determination, desire, fighting spirit and above all mentality to win games when it matters.. final score will be 2 goals without reply.
