58 fuc*ing comments yesterday!!!

58 fuc*ing comments yesterday!!! thumbnail

by Falling Fraz on February 3, 2010

Well, well, well. Block19er has really lifted the bar now,58 comments posted yesterday alone……….top man mate.

I have choosen not to leave any comments since Sunday because i wanted to asses the comments  left and use them to help write my blog today.

Without a shadow of a doubt we are all hurting after Sunday in what we probably thought would be a win on our own turf. There is no argument we were not worthy of the win. As hurtful as it is to say,we were beaten by the better side on the day as we were a few weeks ago against Chavski.

I agree that Clichy was poor and i am sad to say that as i like Clichy a lot,but what would have happened if Arshavin had squared the ball to Nasri instead of going it alone and fluffing it on two different occasions?Could have been a completely different game and scoreline.

Enough has been said about the game and all comments posted on this that and the next thing. So we take the defeat on the chin and look forward to Sunday.

What riles me is the fact that when we get beat is  that all the boo boys are on Wengers case and screaming for his head.

I always have been and always will be an Arsene Wenger man. I can understand the frustration from some of the fans but what really gets me is when we go on a good run or win important games, this site doesn’t have loads of people leaving comments praising Le Boss’s tactics or how well the team played.

Of course we always have the regular readers who leave their comments win, lose or draw, and good on them.

But every time there is a defeat it seems to be an opportunity for the boo boys to rear their ugly heads and go on about how bad we are and how shite Wenger is.

I do honestly think it is time that all these people re-assesed who they choose to support or has been mentioned on numerous occasions fuck off and support someone else.

I’ve asked the questions before and i will ask again to anyone wo wants Le Boss out -

1. Who do we get in to replace him?………….before replying please, please, please don’t say fucking Mourihno!!!

2. Would he be guaranteed to do a better job?

3. Would he be able to hold on to people like Fabregas,Vermalen,Arshavin etc.?

4. And finally how long would we give him before screaming for his head?

Arsene Wenger is definetly the man to take us forward,we are by no means in a bad way.I would be a bit more dissapointed if we were in the position of Liverpool where they may not yet make the top four.

Though we’re not we are still in there fighting for the title and will be until it is mathematically impossible.

The defeat on Sunday knocked us all,but the only way to get over that is go and beat Chavski at the bridge…….and if we don’t then we sack Wenger and bring back Bruce Rioch!!!!

We believe in Arsene Wenger my oh my,we believe in Arsene Wenger my oh my!!!!

Fact – Wenger is the most succsesful Arsenal manager.

Fact – Wenger is the first foreign manager to win the double.

Fact – Wenger is the only manager to go 49 games unbeaten.

As the old saying goes, you don’t realise how much you miss something until you lose it and boy will that be the case with Le Boss!!!

Not that it will matter to the boo boys as they will probably be over at Eastlands saying they have always loved City…blah blah blah.

Just like the twats would have done when they jumped on the Arsenal bandwagon in the late 90′s!!!!

As always Clockenders Best Wishes from all at Arsenal Scotland.

    go wenger!!!!!
if he goes half our team would also go!fabregas, arshavin and all.
if i am correct then henry left for the reason that he did not know whether wenger would stay or not….and that is how we lost our top scorer….will not like that to be repeated again

i think AW is a brilliant manager, he has built a fantastic club and leaves a legacy that will probably never be rivalled. however it would nice to hear him admit that things have gone a little biy tits up. we all agree that we needed a striker in January, even if it was a token to make us all feel that we were building towards world domination. but nothing appeared. it hurts to get stuffed by the Mancs, and i think we should call AW to task over it. he’s the boss, the buck stops with him. we could have won the title this year, it was so close, but it now feels like we’ve let it slip, i think it’s only fair we demand an expalnation

Chelsea drew, so that makes us “only” 6 points behind them, and I think Chelsea and MU can lose more points, so it’s not all over. We could draw and still be in it!, but it would help massively, both from a point of view of recovering from last Sunday, and in our quest for the title, if we win against the chavs. MU had a terrible record against the rivals in the last few season, even got battered 1-4 by liverpool in their backyard last season – but still have won the league for past 3 seasons, so all is not lost, if we and the players keep the faith.

The result last Sunday might, just might, make the penny drop on these players that, to be champions you will need to fight – in EVERY game, like MU did (who are not as good as everyone thinks), but what they have is the belief of champions, that gets them through games, our players need to discover that, and quickly, Wenger has given them enough time (putting his own head and reputation on the line for them).

I’m really angry with some of the players, but let’s not kick them when they’re down, instead I think all the supporters who are attending the game on Sunday should make banners saying “WE BELIEVE IN YOU – MAKE US PROUD” and give the team a roaring backing, them maybe they will feel encouraged to give this game everything – it might start something special.

Why is everyone talking like the season is already over?! theres still close to 15 games left! And after this crucial 2 games forus, chelsea will still have city, spurs, villa, man u and liverpool to play, man u will have liverpool chelsea city and spurs and we will have only city and spurs as our 2 hardest games. IT AINT OVER TIL ITS OVER!!!

Like many others I stood at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon, cold, disappointed and wishing I didn’t have to watch the Mancs at the other end of the stadium jumping up and down and having a much better time than me. Yes we had a bad day, yes several of the team were made to look pedestrian and yes I would like to kick a few of them up the ar*e. But they’re still our team and the most important thing is to get behind them every week.

We’ve been spolit over the years, enjoying great success and our fair share of trophies – most of it thanks to Mr Wenger. Lets just be patient and imagine just how sweet its going to be when it our turn to celebrate again.

Block19er, exactly! what excuse do Chelsea have? at least we could say we are “young, naive, underfunded etc. etc.), they even had Drogba back and still drew!

Seriously, defeats sometimes happen, and with top teams, quite rarely, and when they do sometimes against the unlikeliest opposition.

We have lost 5 league games out 24, the same as…er…Man U, so we can’t THAT bad, top teams win more that they draw or lose, and by that definition we are one of the top teams, and for that (considering the restrictions we operate under) Wenger deserves a lot of credit.

wenger has been great for arsenal no doubt. maybe there has been some over reaction but the point that the so called boo boys make is that for instance why is it that after so many howlers by almunia le boss still persists with him. the first occured on probably the most important game in the last decade when he let in belletti’s straight shot in the cl final. ben foster made some errors and what did fergie do? put him on the bench. its been 5 or six years since viera left and since then we’ve sed time and again how bad we miss him. how is it that we stil complain abt the cdm position. knowing thw rvp is injury prone, that bendtnar isnt the finished article, theo isnt ready nor is vela and that eduardo doesnt fit in the 433( reason y he preferred rvp to him) why dint he buy chamack? at the end of the day wenger is a man. he is a genius but we shouldn’t ever think that arsenal is finished when he leaves. we support the club arsenal not the man wenger. i dont want him sacked, he should jus change his ways a bit

I JUST ONLY THINK THAT WHY ARSENE WENGER TAKE A NEW WELL STRIKER FROM OTHER TEAMS WHY?

I KNOW WENGER IS WONDERFUL COACH IN DA WORLD SO HE SHOULD HAS TO MAKE SOME EFFORTS TO BUILD THE GUNNERS.

I ADVISE TO ARSENE WENGER TO DO SOME EFFORTS…

Song has been one of our best and most consistent players this season, yet he seems to be Gilberto’s true successor, getting slammed by the fans until he’s not in the side and we realize what he’s been bringing all the time. Anyway, the time is now for us to put up or shut up. COME. ON. YOU. GUNNERS.

You are spot on about the boo boys, I think they only became Arsenal fans after we started winning trophies the early Wenger area. How quickly we forget. A club like Arsenal doesn’t currently have the financial base of a Barca, Real Madrid, Inter, Milan, Chelsea, or Man City. Man Utd apparently don’t either, but they spend as if they do. Personally I kind of like it that way. I look forward to a team with Wilshere, Jay Simpson, Ramsey, JET, Gibbs, Lansbury, and hopefully if we can hold onto him–Benik Afobe.

I think Sunday’s performance was down to the players more so than the manager. I think Denilson should be on the edge of his seat. Another performance like that in midfield and Eastmond/Coquelin should get the nod ahead of him. The center of the pitch is crucial to any team, and I really doubt Denilson has what it takes to play there at the top level. It’s like he panics. Hope the lad steps up and improves, but if not–straight to the bench.

Let’s keep our heads up guys. Praying for 3 points at the Bridge.

There’s no doubt that AW is a great manager. To my mind talk of getting rid of him is ridiculous in the extreme.
He has followed his vision of building a squad within the clubs financial means based on bringing youth through the ranks & astute signings & accordingly has built tremendous loyalty from most of his squad. The downside is that it is completely Arsenes vision & Arsenes squad. If he goes the whole thing is likely to colapse. Clearly our best players remain at the club only because they believe in Arsene the man & his vision…all of them could get far bigger pay cheques at other clubs. No other manager has this degree of belief or solidarity with his squad & I can’t see who could possibly take his place.
There’s a lot of talk about bringing ‘this’ or ‘that’ big player to the club, but because of the pay structure that AW has established (or is happy to work within)I don’t believe it’s possible to secure & accomodate such established players because of their high wage demands. The club only remains in a stable, healthy financial situation because of the retricted pay structure. Were he to go would any replacement be able or allowed to change that? I doubt it. Would any manager of any proven quality want to sign up to that kind of financial restriction? I doubt that too, simply because to follow such a policy requires time, patience, intelligence & vision & above all the courage to be different, rather than the ability to write cheques with no limits.
The way I see it you either believe in his vision & what he’s trying to achieve at Arsenal & or support another club.
What he’s built both in the player recruitment programme, playing style & financial basis & so radically different to any other manager & so uniquely “his” that were he to go we’d simply have to start again from scratch (& in the fashion of Chelsea or Man City).

The fact is the title is not in our hands, it depends on many other results. No one is denying the brilliance of AW, but we all need a kick up the arse every now and then. I think there is no doubt this team needs a couple of world class players, not brilliant starlets with potential.5 years is a long time between drinks for a team like ours. Calling for his head is stupid but he is stubbornly taking us down a road where the rewards are not forth coming.

I find arsenal fans from scotland ireland, norway spouting on like their from finsbury park a little unconvincing,it’s much more likely you will p*ss of to the eastlands if the trophy famine continues afterall it is nearer scotland. Arsenal’s history did not begin with wenger and will not end when he leaves.

What a joke, that you are not allowed to criticise. So let me get this right, if Wenger left we would lose Fabregas, Arshavin, Vermalen, so what, all those players played against Man United and Chelsea and look what happened.

Fact is if you sell one of your main strikers before the season starts and don’t replace him and then lose another one of your main strikers to injury during the season, you have to buy a striker. It was shown today that the main player for Chelsea is a striker and the main player for united is a striker. So at the end of this season when we win nothing, it will be because we have no strikers. It is hard to believe that our main strikers are bendtner and Eduardo (who is always injury and has lost a bit of pace). That is why people criticise Wenger. Two seasons ago when they nearly won the league, everybody said if they buy two players in January they might win the league of course Wenger didn’t. This season they had another great chance to win the league and definitely had to buy a striker and Wenger didn’t. Also the reason why I believe people have a right to criticise is because the tickets for Arsenal games are very expensive and why should have to pay big money, if no money is being invested into the team.

I would love to see Wenger win the league with young players and without spending big money but unfortunately with Man United and Chelsea around that will not happen.

Hopefully we can beat the 1990 team on Wednesday as I am very down at the moment.

In my opinion, criticism is fine, I totally agree we need a striker. I would have also said before the season we need another centre back and a big central midfielder (with balls!!). I now think we also need a keeper, one who can challenge Almunia for his first team place, not a soppy Pole.

BUT TO REACT TO THE MANURE GAME WITH – SACK HIM! SELL HIM! IT’S BULLSHIT!! ESPECIALLY WHEN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN BACKING WENGER AND PRAISING PLAYERS FOR MONTHS BEFORE!!
