We’ve made it, Champions League once more, sorry scummers when were you last in the Champions League, oh yeah, sorry, you haven’t ever been there. Shame!!

Arsenal eased back into their groove in a physical first half. From kick off Arsenal were eager to banish any cobwebs from Saturday. Theo was being positive down the right with Sagna on the overlap. Denilsonwas in far superior form with Cesc as a partner. After a few chances for Robin and Bendtner, Djourou and Gallas could have got headed goals, and Clichy also went close. This was all before the 27th minute when Arsenal broke the deadlock. Walcott pounded down the right and slid the ball across to Samir Nasriwho twisted and turned and rolled the ball passed the keeper. It was the sort of football that bought back memories of great times with Freddie and Bobby.
We could have gone out of sight just 10 minutes later as Theo Walcott again ripped apart the Twente defence and unsellishly gave the ball to Van Persie who teed it up with his left foot but curled the ball wide with a shot you would have thought could not have missed. His target is just a little bit off at the moment.

Arsenal started the second half with similar attacking passion. Gallas drove forward for the second goal, it was Bendtner who managed to get the shot in, the keeper could not hold it and Big Willy was not going to miss a chance to be our top European Goalscorer, HE LOVES THE ARSENAL HATE CHELSKI, GALLAS!!
Walcott got a deserved goal shortly after the hour with another powerful run, now down the left, before cutting inside and driving the ball passed the keeper. It was one of those moments you always fancy Theo in but so often it doesn’t happen. Is Theo finally finding his first team feet? I for one can’t wait to watch him again on Saturday.
Bednter, who had worked hard with no end product, got his goal just a minute from the end. The move came to an end when Denilson drove forward into the box and found Bendy with a lovely back heel. Big Nic wasn’t going to miss.
FC Twente will be waking tomorrow knowing they’ve been in a game. This was Arsenal in free-flow, hopefully all the lads are fit, more on Saturday please, COME ON ARSENAL, COME ON ARSENAL.

Much better performance to the weekend flop for sure, still not all the way there I think. This season looks different for the lads, slow start perhaps it’s a good thing last term we run out of steam this term the build up is much slower. Lets hope we get better and better and better!!!
