Pre- Burnley

Pre- Burnley thumbnail

by Block19er on December 16, 2009

Early, Early blog today, seeing as tonight’s will be very lucky to scrape in before Midnight, Burnley in the snow, could be a long journey home.

Still I’m looking for that wooden shack!!

So tonight’s game, Denilson is out, ClockEnd Ryan will be devastated. Traore also won’t make it but Eboue is back. Cesc (back), Shhhh (foot), Gallas (thigh), Diaby (calf), Theo (ankle), and Eddie (thigh) have all been receiving treatment, they will be with the squad and hopefully all able to play. So we’re likely to line up, Manuel, Bac, Gallas, Vermy, Silv, Rambo (Diaby), Cesc, Song, Nasri, Arshavin, Walcott (or Vela). I hope so. Burnley have good home for and there’s something psychological about looking round your team and seeing first choice players or squad players. If Cesc, Gallas, and Arshavin were out to add to RVP and Clichy Burnley would be buoyed.

Le Boss, Legend, God, has likened being a manager to living on a Volcano. Brilliant! Well lets hope his explosion at half time at Anulffield still carries weight tonight. The boys were a lot sharper in the second half and the Arshavin goal, is the sort of moment that re-ignites a season. The great one liner from Arsene has led to legendary headlines like

Arsene Vesuvius!

Mount Arsene

Arsenal winning all the way to Pompeii

Arsene Erupts

Classics!!

Last night Wolves were a disgrace, I recon that’s their Phil Brown moment, they will go down now for sure. They changed their whole side except for the keeper. McCarthy changed the side because they would have lost anyway? WHAT?!?! It’s that kind of attitude that saw the end to Paul Jewells career. The players will be pissed off, whats the point of going up if you can’t play at the big grounds? Dick head!!

Theo said yesterday;

We wanted to give something back to the fans because they were fantastic for us

So come on lads, give us 3 points, and something to sing about tonight.

See you when I thaw out!!
