Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-haa!! That was good my son!! Shit first half, write it off, Gerrard dived for a penalty, and Almunia had a holocaust for their goal. It will only add to those who want Arsene to bring in a new keeper.
According to may people Arsene stuck a rocket up some backsides at half time. It didn’t seem to work until Johnson scored a beauty of an own goal. It was a harmless Nasri cross after Cesc had slotted him in, it was slightly behind Theo, and if left would have gone in to acres of space, Johnson just ran in to it. Cheers mate.
Arsenal managed to crank the pressure up, it was stretched, end to end, and 8 minutes later it was 2-1. Song broke up play the hoof failed to clear Almunia’s long ball. It went ou to Bac on the right, he pushed it inside to Cesc who lofted it in to the area, Theo flicked it on to Andrey, one touch in front of him, one to steady it, then bang with the right foot into the goal the Arsenal were standing behind. The Russian Wizard ran to celebrate with the greatest manager in Arsenals history.
I was worried we wouldn’t be able to hold on to the lead but we defended superbly well and Liverhoof were always worried we’d break away and make it 3. In the end it was comfy and we got what we deserved.
ARSENAL! ARSENAL! ARSENAL!
Roll on Wednesday, we’re rejuvenated.

We do have a goalkeeping problem and it needs to be addressed. But what a beauty!
Roy-Vasey on Sun, 13th Dec 2009 8:01 pm
Thankfully are defence had a great game, especially in the 2nd half. Manuel didn’t have a save to make after his trademark pat a cake moment, how long do we have to
put up with him? He’s cack! Arshavin though, that’s what we need, you pays your money you get CLASS.
Simples
Cmon you GUNNERS!!

Roy mate, getting sick of people slatting our players, there was a guy on here saying Arsahvin is shit. Then it’s Eboue, or Silvestre, next it’ll be Denilson or Diaby. Sagna was shit last season.
BORING! BORING! BORING!

what a result, Liverfool were at full strength too.
Who does Gerrard think he is? There was a moment in the 2nd half when he lost the ball, fell over then expected the ref to stop the game. Now he really is over rated.
I thought Traore had a great game, hope he’s not injured.
we have 2 very winnable games this week, win both of those and you never know!

First-half depressed me so much i couldnt bring myself t watch 2nd half.SONG was the only one who could cope with liverpool and not supprised by Wenger’s halftime reaction.
WHY didnt he say those words to ADE??????????
Come Gooooooooooooneeeeeeeeersssss!
Whats Nasri’s fav position?anyone?
Roy-Vasey on Sun, 13th Dec 2009 10:00 pm
Fine then.
Ahem
Almunia as ever was a rock at the back, his distribution was brilliant didn’t once kick the ball out or fumble under pressure. Was only undone by the best goal I’ve EVER seen, I mean wow what a goal. World class.
Biggy on Mon, 14th Dec 2009 1:07 am
Lets not quarrel guys, after every match it is traditional to have player ratings, This has been going on for a long time. Singling out a player for his performance is nothing new. In this case, Almunia’s distribution was not good, his performance under pressure was not good and his ball-punching was was not great either. If you cannot see these things and point them out then I wonder if you truly want the best for our team.

A goalkeeper can not win you the league but he can certainly loose it for you.
