According to The Mirror Arsenal and ManUre may go in for Mexes as Roma transfer list him for £18Mil.

He can play in the Champions League and if Big Phil is offloaded Wenger could be looking for a centre back but no way at £18Mil. If ‘the new’ Big Phil is unsettled and available Arsene could do some work on that price I’m sure. After all he tried to sign him four season in a row before he went to Roma.

Mexes has made plenty of mistakes on and off the field but now has a settled life and is a mature player. It could be time for him to make the big time.

    mexes is as good as the verminator if not better…he ll help forge a formidable back four..pls bring him….Gallas is too old for the pace of the EPL….or bring in chiellini….come on Grovers……

    Mexes is a time bomb that will explode in your face at the worst moment. He has a very short fuse and when you get kicked alot like in the EPL, he would go bonkers and get sent off. He’s a decent defender but like Lehmann was, can easily turn a game on its head for the worst at any given time.
