Time to shine Theo

Fridays seem to come round so fast at the moment, especially quickly when you’re trying to help organise a charity dinner, Who’s running the bar?

Tickets are still available with members and mates travelling to the Hull game together the following day. Yes, Yes, we’re all sitting in the ClockEnd, hungover and abusing the Hull fans and more importantly PHIL BROWN!!

I can’t believe this

Jens, man, you are mental!!

So we thought Bendtner would be back this week, he obviously came back, saw the rain and said he was going back to Denmark for Xmas. Typical, now he’s got a bird he can’t be arsed with football, kids these days!! Theo should be fit for Anullfield. I hope he can conjure up those jinking runs we know he can, just like at the hoofers in the UCL, but with a different result.

I can’t believe people don’t rate young Theo. I’d agree the jury is out but more on his strength and fitness that his ability. He is definitely one of the most exciting players on the ball at Arsenal. He needs to carry on with the confident performance he put in against Olympiacos and a goal will come in the next couple of games, then he will get on a role.

His hat-trick for England in Croatia gave him bundles of confidence and the following few games he was electric. He’s just one of those confidence players. As with others at Arsenal including RVP and Wilshere, they a so skillful, and frustrating that the opponents want to nobble them and if your playing against a player who is happy to injure you it is only a matter of time. We’re in the shit though cos Eboue is out. Diaby and Eduardo could return.

Hopefully Velas new contract will kick him back into sync. Arsene had turned to Vela for the first time, out of necessity, and he has not delivered. I don’t think he’s been unlucky I just think he’s been poor. I like the guy and have loved a couple of his performances in the Carling Cup but nows the time to step up and get a place in the team. If he fails over Christmas he has no place to complain when he finds himself on the bench and we’ve signed someone in January.

Fabianski is also making noises about starting on Sunday. If you ask me the young Pole makes me as nervous as hell. He comes racing out and misses the ball, or comes half way and stops and tries to go back, but with young keepers he has that natural shot stopping ability and hunger for the game. I’m just not sure he’ll ever be a number 1 at a top of the league club. To me Almunia provides the more stable option.

They’ll be more team news tomorrow after press conferences today. So that’ll give me a few column inches.

So beech balls at the ready, clear your throats, sing it loud, RAFA – YOUR GETTING SACKED IN THE MORNING, SACKED IN THE MORNING.

Have a good Friday.

Very off the subject here but Arsenal should sign Carlton Cole! value i’d say 8million given West Ham’s current status.. Great hold up play, knows where the goal is, strong, seems to have a new found desire after Zola’s kick up the arse plus an added bonus of being English! sign him up Arsene

Theo has been awful all season for the 3.5 hours. He does not deserve to start. He should have a session in the reserves to build his confidence, why should the rest of the team suffer when he is as capable as Pascal Cygan running with the ball? The new Andy Cole…as long as he’s not the new Ashley Cole!
