HUGO LLORIS
Age: 22
Goalkeeper
Lyon
There’s a young French lad who is first choice at a top team in lfp and is now in possession of the International Jersey. What makes him more attractive to Arsenal is he’s a goalkeeper.
Hugo was also voted a the French League number 1 keeper for 2009.
He even has a couple of Champions League clean sheets to his name this term. He’s alerted English clubs by talking about a move over the channel.

It doesn’t matter who just not Almunia. He just scares me. Its like having a poodle as your guard dog, sure he still barks but that’s about it.

Better get a new keeper coz Almunia is loosing the grip and needs competition from a better one than him, I suggest the AZ Alkaamar keeper please.

Romero is terrible and the only reason he can even get near the Argentina squad is because it’s not that good to start with and there’s really not much other options. That’s how mediocre Argentina is this year (as illustrated by their scraping into the WC by the skin of their teeth).
Hugo Lloris is everything Almunia is not – commands his box and can actually catch crosses. He’s probably the same in pure shot stopping if you saw his saves against Ireland in the qualifier where Henry handled the ball.
Between Lloris and Sergio Asenjo – they’re quite possibly the best young keepers in the world right now and much better than Almunia. Wenger definitely needs to solve the keeper crisis, but also the CM puzzle and a striker and depth in defense

I think Wenger should take a look at Allan MacGregor at Rangers. Quality keeper and with Rangers’ financial problems he would be available at a cut price
