Arsenal 0 – 3 Chel$ki

ClockEnd Ryan can’t be here. He’s gone for a much needed hair cut!! So you’ve got me and I ain’t fucking happy. We got well and truly stiffed by a bunch of money grabbers today, that includes poor excuse for a ref André Marriner, 100% brown envelope job.

I should have known what a fucking shit game this would have been when Joe Cole crunched Denilson 10 seconds on. It was a repeated barrage of fouls that wore Arsenal down. Chel$ki’s tactis were clear, sit deep, nulify Arsenal, and every other attack bring them down on the half way line. Stop the attacks building up. The ref played well in to their hands by not booking anyone for persistent fouling. Still it was all Arsenal.

Our first foul by Traore, a shirt pull on the wing, yellow card. Your kidding me? They’ve spent 25 minutes spoiling and breaking up play with fouls and we’re booked!!

Still even with all these fouls we’d created a couple of chances, won a couple of corners, and Nasri had tested Cech. But we went one-down, Chel$ki we’re clinical and to be fair it was a good finish. They made it two-nil with a similar move but frustratingly it was Vermy that turned it home.

So we were the better team, but 2-nil down at half time, partly from the ref ruining the game, and partly from Chel$ki having a fully fit clinical finisher!! We needed an early goal and we got it. Arshavin tucked the ball away but the ref stopped play, why? Because a Chel$ki player ran into his own keeper. Fuck you Marriner.

Still Arsenal had all the play but as the half wore on we became tired and for the last 15 they were the better team. Arsenal had been worn down by the ref!! They would go on to score a third and that was head in hands time.

Looking back over the 90 minutes we really didn’t shoot enough, I’m disappointed about that, I’m worried about missing out injured players, but I do think if we had a balanced ref or had perhaps stuck it in a bit more we could have had a better result. Better than losing by 3 anyway.

Highlight of the day was the legend sitting in front of me nutting a Chav who thought it’d be funny to celebrate Dogbreathes goal. Get a ticket in your own end MUG!

Also a note to people who want to SUPPORT arsenal, leave your slagging a moaning for the tinernet, I can’t be arsed to listen to it at a game. I’m sleeping much at the moment and if you push me too much I will fucking snap.

I really hope our kids don’t get hammered this week but the most important thing for our club is now to get 3 points on Saturday.

Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Traore, Gallas, Vermy, Song (Walcott 46), Denilson, Cesc, Nasri (Rosicky 65), Eddie (Vela 57), Arshavin. Subs not used: Fabianski, Eboue, Silvestre, Rambo.

Att: 60, 067.

As I saw it Chelsea defended well and broke well. The referee has a reasonable game and made mistakes affecting both sides.
    Men against boys Im afraid.

What a weird game, yet not that surprising.

Arsenal had more possession, more shots on goal, more corners and won the battle in the midfield in my opinion. Chelsea only had one shot on goal.

Chelsea are just too good in defence and defended in numbers. The tale of the tape is that Chelsea only had one shot on goal, yet won 3-0.

If the own goal wasnt scored and the free-kick wasnt scored, people would be talking very differently about the game.

As far as im concerned Arsenal out-played and dominated Chelsea from start to finish. The difference was Chelsea scored from their only chance, AND more haha. Which is quite unbelievable.

Having said all that, Arsenal are a few powerful players short of competing against a side like Chelsea. I believe right now, with van Persie out and Bentdner out, the 4-3-3 becomes useless. Wenger must revert to 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 until we get one of those two back.

Eduardo as a lone striker is nonsense.

Oh deary me. We certainly weren’t the better team. We had two ten-minute spells at the start of each half where we looked lively, but that was it. We were well beaten.

And Mikel was booked for persistent fouling.

You can’t pin this one on the ref.
