Gunners on Song. Song ; see what I did there? A delicious little play on words

The avalanche of goals continued on Saturday evening. A shaky start, but once we got the bit of luck with the first, Arsenal were always going to win this game.

Le Boss sprang a surprise by leaving out Song for Ramsey, and I thought Rambo was our Man of the Match ; a very good performance in the middle. Diaby went off injured and was replaced by Song, enabling Ramsey to then play further forward and he had an excellent 90 minutes.

I think the man who is really making us tick with this formation is Alex Song, and I cannot underestimate his importance to the team ; He deserved a rest, but Diaby’s injury meant he still played an hour and it was no coincidence that the game was won within 20 minutes of his introduction. I wonder how those fans who booed him at Craven Cottage a few years ago feel now?? Unfortunately, I feel it is fate that he will be booked against Sunderland and therefore be suspended for the visit of Chelsea.

I was a bit miffed by that late goal though ; The Verminator showed he is human after all as he lost his man at a corner. I had to laugh at City letting in another three ; Poor old Kolo, a pale imitation of his circa 2004 self, so it could certainly be much worse for us. A few players are on the way back now with Rosicky and Nasri pushing for starting spots for the next round of games, but Clichy is now out for a while with a ‘hairline fracture of the vertabrae’ or something, but basically, along with Denilson, we now have two players out with broken backs! Only at Arsenal could that happen. I have full confidence in Gibbs to fill in though, in fact I thought Clichy should have been dropped for some recent sub standard displays ; It didn’t do Sagna any harm ; He is now back in form and bombing up the right wing and his crossing has improved so much that he also also picked up some goal assists ; Competition for places brings out the best in players. Please note, Manuel Almunia!!

The West London Cuntfest ended in a narrow win for the home team, the result we definitely didn’t want ; It means we stay in second, but I would have been happier with a draw or even a United win. Speaking of Chelsea, following the news that they may put stadium naming rights up for sale, I think we should have a whip round between all Gooners. We can then buy the right and rename it classlesstosserswithnohistory@stamfordbridge.com

Another goddamn international break to deal with now, so two weeks before the next league game at Sunderland, and then a very big game against Chelsea.

Wake me up in twelve days.
